John Lambe has been involved in golf club management for over 30 years.

As Secretary/Manager of The Royal Dublin Golf Club, one of the oldest and most prestigious golf clubs in Ireland, John's management career has spanned 30 years with the Club and included organising and running:-

• The Irish National Professional Golf Championship - 3 times
• The Irish Open Golf Championship - 3 times
• Toyota Challenge of Champions - Nicklaus V Ballesteros
• PGA Forte Seniors' Championship
• Irish Amateur Close Championship
• Irish Amateur Open Championship - 5 Times

Secretary/Manager of the Year Award (1996) from The Ireland Golf Tours Operators' Association.

Special Award (1999) from The Links Golfing Society in recognition of 25 years assisting in charity fundraising for cancer research and Our Lady's Hospital for Sick Children.

As former Secretary of The Irish Association of Golf Club Secretaries John has a one to one relationship with the Secretary Managers of all the top golf clubs in the Island of Ireland and has been guaranteed priority tee times.
